Mille Almaraz captured the third stop of the 2026 Gulf Coast Tour season, defeating Yvonne “The Casher” Asher in the final set, 7-6. Almaraz dominated an elite field of competitors, going undefeated to capture her first event of the year.

On March 14th, 2026, sponsors Poison by Predator Cues, Predator Cues, APA of North Harris County, Alamo Billiards, Outsville Billiards, and Team Straight Pool Eye, produced another successful event for the women of the Gulf Coast Tour. The two-day event featured a $500 added purse, drew 12 players, and paid out $800 in prize money. Big Tyme Billiards provided twenty-four, 7’ bar tables for match play, all covered in Predator Arcadia Reserve, tournament blue cloth, in a smoke-free environment. Predator provided Arcos II Pool Balls and Outsville Billiards supplied the Accu-Rack template racks, for discussion-free racking. The Tour would also like to announce its newest sponsor, “Rack IQ”. Asher
In the final eight on the winners’ side, Ariana Alonza defeated Angelica Vergara, 7-3, while Yvonne Asher bested Lacy West, 7-3. Nikki Tutt fell to Mille Almaraz, 7-0, and Courtney Peters slid past Natalie Rocha, 7-4. In the next round, Asher ousted Alonzo, 7-4, and Almaraz squeezed by Peters, 7-6. The hotseat match witnessed Asher fall to Almaraz, 7-3. On the west side, in the final eight, Vergara shut out West, 6-0, but fell to Peters, 5-0. Rocha dusted off Ruth Paine and Alonzo by the same score, 5-2. Down to the final four, Peters eliminated Rocha, 5-2, but fell to Asher by the same score. Asher teed off with Almaraz in the final set. In the end, while Asher sought redemption, she did not find it. Following a harsh battle, Almaraz won on the hill, 7-6, securing her first Tour victory of the year.
