On September 12th, 2026, Iturbide Pool House in Laredo, Texas, hosted its second event for the players of the Gulf Coast Tour. The Tour would like to thank Iturbide for hosting another first-rate event, and Tour sponsors Poison by Predator Cues, Predator Cues, Outsville Billiards, Team Straight Pool Eye, and newest sponsor, Rack IQ, for their continued support. The one-day event featured a $500 added purse, drew 10 players, and paid out $750 in prize money. Predator provided Arcos II Ball Sets for each table, while Outsville Billiards supplied Accu-Racks, for discussion-free racking.
On the winners’ side, final four, Heather Parsons defeated Ruth Paine, 5-3, and Carmell Luttrell sent Michelle Abernathy to the west side, 5-3. In the hot seat match, Parsons defeated Luttrell, 5-3.
On the west side, finishing in the top 8, Janeth Mendiola eliminated Jessie Hammer, along with Abernathy, by the same score, 4-2, while Saharai Urrutia dusted off Adamaris Andrade, 4-2, falling in turn to Paine, 4-1. While Luttrell put up a tremendous fight, the first match of the true, double elimination final, went to Parsons, 5-3. Congratulations to Heather Parsons on her very first, Gulf Coast Tour victory.
The Tour would like to congratulate Heather Parsons on her first win, and Janeth Mendiola on her highest finish to date.
