Robyn Petrosino captured the sixth top on the Gulf Coast Women’s Regional Billiards Tour, held at Big Tyme Billiards in Spring, Texas. Petrosino bested Teresa “Princess of Pool” Garland in the final match, to secure her first victory of the season.

On July 13th, 2024, sponsors Poison by Predator Cues, Predator Cues, APA of North Harris County, Alamo Billiards, Outsville Billiards, and Team Straight Pool Eye, produced another successful event for the women of the Gulf Coast Tour. The one-day event featured a $500 added purse, drew 13 players, and paid out $825 in prize money. Big Tyme Billiards provided twenty-four, 7’ bar tables for match play, all covered in Predator Arcadia Reserve, tournament blue cloth, in a smoke-free environment. Predator provided Arcos II Pool Balls and Outsville Billiards supplied Accu-Rack template racks, for each table.
In the final four on the winners’ side, Ruth Paine bested Natalie Smith, 7-4, while Robyn Petrosino denied Sophia Lopez, 7-4. Hot seat action witnessed Petrosino dust off Paine, 7-5. On the west side, and in the final eight, Garland eliminated Annie Swelgin, 5-0, while West bested Rae Hoffman, 5-2. Garland ousted Lopez, 5-2, while West sent Smith packing, 5-1. Garland went on to defeat West, 5-1, and Paine, 5-3, to meet Petrosino in the finals. Following an impressive 6 match wins, Garland was in dead punch, winning the first set of the true double elimination final, 7-4. The players decided to forego playing the second set, splitting first and second place prize money, with the win going to Petrosino.
