Courtney Peters went undefeated at the sixth stop on the Gulf Coast Tour, held at Big Tyme Billiards in Spring, Texas. Peters faced off with Natalie Rocha in the final, taking her out in a hill-hill thriller, 7-6. Peters recently moved back to Texas from Dubai, and the Tour is excited to have her back.
Peters
On July 12th, 2025, sponsors Poison by Predator Cues, Predator Cues, APA of North Harris County, Alamo Billiards, Outsville Billiards, and Team Straight Pool Eye, produced another successful 9-ball event for the women of the Gulf Coast Tour. The $500 added event drew 19 women players and paid out $975 in prize money. Big Tyme provided twenty-four, 7’ bar tables for tournament play, all covered with Predator Arcadia Reserve, tournament blue cloth, in a non-smoking environment. Predator sponsored the Arcos II ball sets used on each table, and Accu-Racks were provided by Outsville Billiards for discussion-free racking.
Rocha
On the winners’ side final four, Natalie Rocha beat Ashley Julian, 7-4, while Courtney Peters ousted Natalie Smith, 7-1. In the hot seat match, Peters crept past Rocha, 7-6. On the west side and in the final eight, Nickerson eliminated Lisa Smith, 5-3, but fell to Julian, 5-2. Hopey Lawrence denied Ruth Paine, 5-4, and Natalie Smith, 5-2. Julian sent Lawrence packing, 5-2, but was shut out by Rocha, 5-0. Rocha earned herself a rematch with Peters and a shot at another title. In the first set, both players came out swinging, trading game for game. The score was 6-6, and following a safety battle on the 8-ball, Peters won the final game, and claimed the victory. Congratulations to Courtney Peters on a well-deserved win.
